Default full transit-Infinity-formal nights ??

Hi all,
Sailing apr. 2nd full Transit westbound on Infinity. Wondering when they have the 2nd of 3 formal nights on this sailing. Celebrity itself is of no help in that regards.
day 1 sail away ex Fll
day 2-3 at sea ( day 2 is usually formal)
day 4 Aruba
day 5 at sea
day 6 Panama canal & Fuerte Amador
day 7 at sea
day 8 Puntarenas
day 9 at sea
day 10 Huatulco
day 11 Acapulco
day 12 Cabos San Lucas
day 13-14 at sea ( day 13 likely the 3rd formal night)
day 15 SanFransisco

Anybody out there who sailed similar or identical voyage ?? And knows where they slot the 2nd formal night ??? I'd suspect day 9....
Thanks for info
Cheers
CG

sealegs,

The scheduling of formal nights may vary from one ship to another. The first formal night usually is on Day 2 and the last formal night usually is on the next to last night (Day 13 for a 14-night cruise). If the cruise is long enough to have three formal nights (usually nine nights or longer) the second formal night usually occurs on a sea day about midway between the first and the last. On your itinerary, Day 7 appears to be the most likely time -- but that is not set in stone.

Look for the definitive schedule on the front of Celebrity Today of the first day of your cruise.

Norm.

Celebrity does not set the schedule, the hotel manager on board does this.

Be advised when we did the Panama Canal the original daily paper had 3 formals. Someplace in all of this was a 4th formal. Surprised everyone when we read it in the daily paper for that day.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies. Very helpful and appreciated.
Y2C: I did not realize the ship hotel manager set up the formal/informal/casual schedule.....thanks for the info.
REV22;17 & Y2C : I had finally got a person at RCI/Celebrity who actually used a '' brain'' as opposed to a '' cheat sheet'' when handling a query; she put me on hold, checked with some sources and came back with specific nights for formals: 3, 9 & 13.( on that specific cruise)
With what Y2C is pointing out, that could be changed by the time we board....I'll presume it won't.
REV22;17, thanks for your post on the Puntarenas port of call; appreciated.
Cheers
Happy sailings
