I have a cruise on the Millie Jan 8th and was wondering when Celebrity will be sending me my documents. I have never been on a Celebrity cruise before so all this is new to me. I have always gone HAL and they deliver docs 4 weeks before a cruise. Just wondering and thanks in advance.
I had e-tickets for my Alaska cruise last July, and they worked pretty well. There is one potential "gotcha," though -- as part of the security, you get only ONE download and you DO need printed copies of the cruise tickets and any transfer and hotel vouchers in the package. Thus, do NOT go into the e-ticket site unless you are on a machine connected to a working printer.
I'm not sure whether you can save the file to disk or not.
No, haven't done e-tickets yet, but at some point, thats the way they will all be.
I think things are changing, but I have had e-tickets twice. Both times I have taken my copy of the luggage tags and copied them and then laminated them to make a good sturdy luggage tag. This turned out to be a very good idea when I was told at an airport to put my luggage in a truck with all the other 500 pieces of luggage.
They were telling us in the instructions to get luggage tags at the dock.
I heard one passenger wondering around at the dock asking where were the luggage tags.
I think that now you should be able to ask your travel agent to send you generic luggage tags and then just fill in the information.
I have received e-ticket and documents directly from the cruise line once and once from the TA.
