Default Drinking water on the ships.....is there a charge for it?

This may sound like a dumb question but....is there a charge for water or bottled water on the ships?

For the bottled water - yes, there's a charge. BUT there's no need to buy it as the water from the tap is distilled and is as good if not better than the bottled kind. Believe this is true for most lines.

Thank you, I was wondering the same thing. I am surpised to find out the non-alcholic drinks are not included. As a new cruiser, I'm beginning to figure out how many extra costs there is going to be.

The cruise is not cheap my any stretch of the imagination, and I can understand that alcohol isn't included, but, yikes my morning coffee is going to add up.

What about dinner? Is coffee and tea included with that?

Coffee and tea are included with dinner. They are also available in the buffet areas at no additional charge. Specialty coffees, such as cappuccino and espresso are available at an additional charge.

Take care,
Mike

You won't be charged for coffee. Some ships do have specialty coffees and might charge for that now (HAL didn't on our cruise a few years back) but morning coffee/tea from room service, buffet or the dining room are no charge. Same for dinner.

Thank you, that's good to know. I noticed there is "cruise chat" tonight. What time is it in EST?

Thanks

When we are in a lounge, we would always order a glass of water from the bar - and there was no charge for that. We love to dance and water is our staple drink when dancing.

You can also get Iced Tea or Iced Coffee in the dinning room with your dinner at no charge. During the day you can also get fruit punch in the Seaside cafe.
