Default Celebrity--Sunset Verandah cabin on sports deck

Has anyone experienced this type of cabin on Celebrity. Balcony is larger.
What is below these cabins? Should be great view but what else should I know? Thanks, Tampamom

Tampamom:

Are you referring to the ones that will be on the Century? If so they haven't been built yet. I will have one at the end of the year and have some of the same questions but am taking a "wait and see attitude". They will have a larger balcony and may be somewhat larger but will have the standard amenities of a cat 2 cabin. I think the view will be very nice but the only major question I have is if the build out below will end up giving us a view of the buffet seating area below and no real view of the stern.

Either way, I like the aft balcony, the top of the ship, the slightly larger room and the proximity to pool and the buffet area. I think the location will be a major plus to the cabin. If you will be booking and sailing the Century before then I will be interested in hearing about the cabin.

Take care,
Mike

Yes, this would be on the refurbished Century. Have heard a negative from a neighborhood frequent cruiser of this type of cabin----always looking back--like riding backward sometimes on a train and when in port would be up against another ship. Seems like the bigger balcony would be nice. What do you think? Tampamom

Aft facing stern cabins are amongst the most desirable on a ship I think. I don't see a downside at all. You get both the port side and starboard side views.
