Alaska in July

I am sailing on the Infinity July of 06, not quite sure what type of clothes to bring, as far as weather goes....do I pack summer stuff? I am just not sure how warm it will be there and not sure what to bring!!!

Any suggestions would be great!!

I would pack so that you can dress in layers. I've heard different reports of how the weather can be in July. A couple of years ago, it was warmer in Alaska in July than in my home town in Pittsburgh, PA. It was in the 80's. However, it can also be chilly and cloudy. I would make sure you have a little of both types of clothes.

I figured I would try and bring stuff for layers, I have been a few vacations and this one has got to be the hardest to pack for. Have you been on a lot of cruises? Any planned for the near future?

I agree about dressing in layers. We were there in August and still needed a light jacket. We are going again next month, and bringing layers and warm coat. Enjoy Alaska, it is beautiful. We saw it in the summer, now want to see it with snow.
