Dru is not on Merc anymore. He may be back, but he disembarked april 7th for vacation and he is on the millennium next, don't know for how long.

Then he probably will be aboard GTS Millennium for the duration of his next contract (typically six to eight months for a cruise director). The normal rotation for senior officers is to relieve whoever goes on vacatoin when they return from vacation.

Norm.

It depends, especially for the CD. For the Greeks (deck officers) the 6-8 month rule is true, but Dru was only on the merc for about 3 months. Before that, someone else was covering him for about a month while he was vacationing or taking care of personal business. It also depends on the sailing schedule of the millennium, because if they do a transit, sometimes CD's leave when the ship is going to a new destination. I'm sure it also has to do with the politics on the Merc... the officers handled the situation with the virus by tuning into drill sargeants unnecessarily, instead of remaining calm.
