Default Celebrity Suite Amenities Question

On my cruise to Alaska next year, we splurged for a Celebrity Suite (great price).

My question is:

Can you order the Cova Cafe coffee and croissants from room service?

Also, what can I expect from the butler service?

Is the room service menu different from the regular menu?

Actually, a Butler will do more than what is listed. Our butler did a lot of practical things. He personally brought us our in cabin meals, making sure that we got what we ordered.

If we wanted something from the bar...a speciality drink brought to the cabin...he did that. He serves your food. If you eat out on the veranda...he will set it up there for you.

Special treats...everyday...every single day!!!!

Our butler made sure are cabin was spotless...

Our butler made sure we had everything perfect. In fact when I had to go to the ships med. center because I had gotten ill, he even brought my husband meals, etc.

Notice I keep saying 'OUR BUTLER'...yes they WILL make you feel very spoiled and special!

Thanks Fern for taking the time to post Celebrity's info.

I did read all that on their webpage and I just had a few more questions about the service.

I don't like to take advantage of the service on cruise ships, and since this will be my first time with a butler, I didn't want to overstep on his/her duties.

I'm looking forward my Celebrity Suite. I told my husband, it's going to be hard to go back. This particular cruise had a great deal on the suite, because it's considered a repo cruise. Even though it's a 13-night cruise with stops in Seattle, San Francisco, Victoria the the inside passage of Alaska and ends in Vancouver.

I'm off to Hawaii on the Summit in December, but settled for an oceanview cabin.

I'm spoiled with any cruise, as long as I don't have to cook, wash dishes and make the bed for 14 days.

Happy cruising to all.

Here is a link to an article by Kuki, our Features Editor, that explains a lot of what you can expect from your butler and with a Suite on Celebrity.

A Butler's Tale

Take care,

Kuki's 'A Butler's Tale' really DOES sum it up! We enjoyed great service and were spoiled rotten. They really do make you feel like a celebrity () Your Butler will try to get you everything and anything you want.

OF COURSE you will also tip them accordingly
