Default Conceirge Class Champagne in cabin

Does anyone know if you can switch the champagne put in your Conceirge Class cabin at the beginning of the cruise for a different kind of wine? Champagne gives me a headache!

And, if so, can you bring that wine to the dining room for opening and drinking without a corkage fee?

Thanks.

Probably not, but it does not cost anything to ask.

FWIW, headaches usually come from cheap champagne and Celebrity probably would provide something decent.

Yes. The corkage fee only applies to wines that are not purchased through Celebrity. Also, the wine stewards usually do not have convenient access to records of who purchased or received what so they tend to assume that any wine that's on any of the ship's wine lists or gift lists was purchased through the ship.

Norm.

Default Celebrity Champagne

I personally was quiet surprised.. we ordered a pitcher of OJ and had mimosas one evening ... the Champagne was better than i would have thought for a "freebie" But then again IMHO Celebrity does right by its guest 90% of the time

joey

But as Cruznut pointed out...all they can say is i/m sorry
