Default Do you pay for room service?

Hello all,

I booked the cc class cabin on the millie February 4. Will I have to pay extra for room service?

Thanks.

No, room service is still included in the fare. It is, however, customary to tip the steward who brings your order to your cabin. Perhaps others can correct me on this (I don't use room service when I cruise), but I'm guessing that a gratuity of $5 per order would be about right today.

Norm.

From what I've seen on the boards, it's more like $1 per person. Of course, if you have a complete dinner, then $5 would probably be more like it.

I agree it depends on what you get, if a full meal the $5.00 might not be enough whereas I think it would be too much for getting a pot of coffee. Also, I don't necessarily tip whoever brings the food. If it is my regular stateroom attendent, I will tip accordingly at the end of the cruise. If not my regular attendent, then a tip at the time of service would be appropriate.
