Default An EXPLANATION of Muranos-- just so it's clear

Thought I would post to explain the situation about Muranos... mainly for information, and also so I don't have to explain it to everyone individually.

Just today Celebrity informed us that we'd have to pay for all the seats in the restaurant for both nights to secure the reservation. So...I agreed to pay for it. They did say they would be setting up a "Master Account" in my name on board... which I'm assuming means you can still pay for Muranos on your shipboard accounts, and it will just be credited to me.

I'll clarify that once onboard, and let everyone know if that's the case or not.

If not, and you have to pay me direct, you can do still use your shipboard card to get "chips" in the casino (with no service fee) and pay me that way.

The other thing is dining times... and I must say people have been very cooperative and understanding... but I want to explain...
Murano's seating structure only allows for 20 -22 people to be seated for each seating.
1 table for 6, 3 tables for 4, and 1 or 2 tables for 2.
at each of the seating times - 6 PM, 7 PM and 8:30 PM.
This is done to ensure the quality of service in the restaurant.

The restaurant is small, so even if you requested a large table, and got a table for 4, you'll feel like everyone at your dining time is sitting together

That alternate to these staggered dining times was a set menu which we felt would not be the Murano's experience that everyone wanted.

So.. there you have all the information. I'm sure we're going to have a fabulous two nights in Muranos in the midst of a fabulous cruise!!

And it's coming up FAST! YAY!!!

And btw... there are a couple of seats left on both nights if someone who hasn't reserved yet is interested

That's very clear Kuki and must have been really hard to figure out all the seating arrangements ... congrats on a job well done. One headache I'm sure you didn't need.

I'm not going to answer for a number of reasons.

1. I don't think I now have to go through the whole list informing everyone who they're dining with... and hearing from 120 people who they'd rather sit with

2. There COULD still be some changes, and then everyone would want to be informed of every change

3. Whoever it is... will be a part of the cruisemates group, and I'll bet they're all nice people.

4. Sometime in our lives we all need to learn that we don't need to know EVERYTHING in advance.

And 5... I was going to e mail you, that I've actually moved you to 7PM... same day though!
Hope that's OK for you and James?

Kuki, are you going to try out the Chef's Menu with wine pairings for $130 per person? If you do, please post a review.

Have a great cruise!!!!
