Default Dinner Seating

I've heard Mercury seats you with people booked in similiar room types? such as those with suites get seated together, has anyone heard this? is this true?

No, I'm not aware of any particular effort to do that. They usually seat people however best fills in the tables at each seating. For exampe, you might have two parties of four at a table for eight.

Nope,,,I don't think so. We usually request a large table, and have had folks in inside cabins mixed with those in suites etc. Everyone is the same once you leave the cabin.

Nope.......in September we were on the Mercury........our table was outside, family room & suite.........a good mix.......

well that's good to hear! i had read someone's comments before that said it was seated according to room and I was bummed, we prefer the mix of the people! we have the royal suite booked and were looking forward to making friends to invite up for drinks in the room, i thought well that wouldn't work if our dinner mates had the same room! the only reason we have the upgrade was because our other sailing was cancelled and we received vouchers, i was afraid we'd be seated with snobs when i had heard they seat by room. Glad its not true! thanks everyone!
