My husband and I are booked on the 14nt Summit to Hawaii roundtrip from LA departing March 3. We would like to make some plans on shore for dinner, however we don't want to miss any of the formal evenings. Has anyone taken this cruise and able to tell me the schedule of dress codes for the 2 weeks. In my experience, there will be a formal evening the second or third night at sea and then one the second or third night before disembarkation, but I don't know if they will plan another when we are in port.
You should have 2 formal nights all of which are at sea.

Thanks for the response! I do know that there are 3 formal nights on celebrity cruises over 10 nights (we've been on 4.) I'm just not sure if they will have a formal night while in port.
Sorry I had a brain freeze and thought that we were in the Carnival Forum.
Yes 3 formal nights all at sea. I have yet to see a formal night in port on any of our cruises.

The second evening (Captain's "Welcome Aboard") and the next to last evening (Captain's Farewell) are always "formal" evenings. Unfortunately, the timing of the third formal evening is up to the officers of the ship. During my cruise to Hawai'i aboard sister GTS Infinity last October, they held it on the Sunday of the middle weekend even though the ship was in port that day, but a different crew (aboard MV Summit) may make a different decision. Your best option might be to wait until you get aboard to make reservations for the specialty restaurant, as the complete schedule of evening attire will be in your cabin when you embark.
