taking beer onboard

Going on Celebrity out of Barcelona in Nov. Is the alcohol ban enforced or could a person take a few beer onboard while embarking? Thanks for any replies.

Pack them in your suitcase and no problem.You may or may not get stopped in your carry on bags.

I think this is the first beer thread for Celeb (usually see them on Royal carib) but with the rising prices I am not surprised. Actually, the only permitted alcohol to carry on is wine--2 bottles per cabin
