Default Hawaii shore excursions

I see from the excursions book there are plenty to choose from but not sure about the times as none are given. I have looked on tour web sites and see most start early in the morning, 7:30. We arrive in Maui at 10:00 on the first day, how long before we are on land and what excursion is best that time of day? We were interested in the Haleakala crater tour but see it is to late on the first day to do it according to the web sites and on the second day we wanted to do the Molokini snorkel trip which starts at 7:30 a.m. Does anyone have a suggestion on how this can be done?
thank you, Lynne

About a couple weeks after you make your final payment, your travel agent will deliver a pre-cruise information book that contains the descriptions of all of the shore excursions and the respective times. It's much easier to use the book than Celebrity's web site when trying to decide what to do. The book also will have a form for ordering shore excursions that will indicate the time(s) of each.

If you are taking a morning shore excursion in a tender port, don't worry about getting ashore. The shore excursion will meet in a lounge on the ship (usually Rendez-Vous Square) a few minutes before the designated time. A member of the shore excursion staff will escort each tour group to the tender platform, where you'll board a tender to go ashore as a group. Additional shore excursion staff at the tender landing will direct you to your tour operator.

BTW, Haleakala's crater and the vistas from the rim are very impressive, if you get a clear day! The astonomical observatories beyond the visitor center are also very impressive, but unfortunately not open to visitors.

Norm.
