For Concierge Class-What's the Best Deck on Constellation?

Reaching out to the cabin experts here:

We've stayed in 6136, 6135, 6144 and on the Mercury, the 7th and 9th deck.

Just booked a Barcelona Transatlantic cruise for next September 2008 and all the CC cabins on 6 were booked! I was taken by surprise and of course the TA didn't know the skinny on all the rooms. She booked me in cabin 9085, mid ship. Another option is 7181, Aft.

After our last cruise to No Europe, I recall the life boats. So my concerns are:

1) Noise from deck 10 (dining room / pool area)
2) A glass floor-window from deck 10 right above our veranda
3) Life boats-where will the best views be without a boat in the way?

Well I guess I'll reply to my own post.

After doing a considerable amount of searching, found some threads on cruisemates about "secret cabins".

I found one "secret cabin" which happened to be available for our Barcelona cruise next September. Cabin 9038 It has the extended veranda, but it is Forward, not Aft. Hopefully the motion of the ship won't be too great.

I think 9085 would have been ok, during the day when there might be activity you will be up and out of the room... have only stayed on deck 7 so I can't talk from experience.
With regard to the forward, remember it can be quite windy forward.
