Thanks for the info. I'm quite happy that Celebrity is getting more ships.

Is it posted anywhere the Equinox itinerary for November 5th? I assume it's going to be based in Barcelona....

Just booked the Equinox transatlantic for Nov. 5, 2009 yesterday (3/13).
The itinerary sounds great.
It leaves from Rome and stops in Marseilles, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Cartegna, Lanzorate, and Tenerife before crossing to Ft. Lauderdale.
Prices weren't too bad - about the same as our Millie transatlantic 2007 originally were when we booked that.

I was SO tempted to book the 11-05 transatlantic but we booked the first run (08/08/09) from Southhampton to Rome. We need to see places and ships we haven't experienced so this was win/win. Can't wait to start hearing year end reports on the Solstice, Robbie

Default EQUINOX

As you can see we booked the cruise.. it is in the process of selling out like crazy.. prices have jumped weekly.. suites are gone, AQUA (whatever they are)AFT, have sold out.. and the price that we paid for a CC cabin is up more than 50%...and this is for 2009... It is an extremely active board on another site... and theyare talking about the Eclipse for 2010

Default Equinox

We are booked on the Equinox 11/5/09 Transatlantic. This will be our first Transatlantic and first time to Europe.
Looking forward to meeting fellow cruisers. Is anyone from South Florida on this cruise?

Default BOOKING THE EQUINOX

As of last week..our cabin has jumped $1,000.00 a person..Yes, you read it correctly.and unless you have a cruise/travel agent who is holding onto suites. etc. forget about it..Celebrity people themselves seem to be as surprised as anybody else., Frankly, the ports arent that great, but there are a few including Rome we havent been to (will have to rob a bank for that). PHYLLIR most peple seem to be from Florida and if you write me Ill put yu in touch with the group. they are having a get-togther

The Aqua means they are located on the deck where the spa is.

I'm looking forward to trying all three ships in this class! I've been fortunate to have only sailed in either a Concierge Class or Sky Suite.

You know when you try something, it works and you don't want to change? lol..that's my problem. I want to try this new line on =X= but feel like I really am at home on the Millennium class ships.

Hi Triton,

I could not agree more. Boarding aM class ship is like putting on old slippers. It just feels comfortable. We have been fortunate to be on three of the four...somehow we keep missing the Infinity. We do love the Connie.

Hi Charles and Elaine:

Yes, it's like putting on an old slipper, isn't it? lol. Its nice to know the "lay of the land" while others spend a few days to get their bearings. It's also nice to have the routine down.

We love the Connie too. She's our favorite!
