Hi: We had cabin 9066 on the Summit in Jan.2007 for a full transit of the
Panam Canal from LA to FLL. Ours was a Conciege Cabin witch is a tad
larger in length that the regular balconies. Our friends who had the
other cabin - had a easy chair whereas our cabin had a couch. The bathrooms are identical (and really, really nice). If you do deck 9 - just
be aware that there is a rather large overhang from the deck above which
does restrict some of your views of the horizons but on the plus side - we
always had a bit of afternoon shade which was great (no hot sun beating in on our windows. We also were mid-ship not too far from
the elevators. Also very quiet. Have a good time.
Forgot to mention - you can bring up the different deck plans on your
computer and see the actual locations. We like mid-ship both for cabin
location and deck choice. Also, we have always had cabins on the right
side of the ship - kind of like that, too.
