Default Food, New Chef: Blau & Associates, Old Chef: Master Chef

To what extent, have you noticed that the new chef (Blau & Associates)made an improvement from the Old Chef (Master Chef Michel Roux)

Just to be clear, Blau is not a chef, she is a consultant. Her specialy is making deals between well-known chefs and companies like Celebrity, but so far nothing like that has been announced.

I think the role she is playing is more along the lines of suggesting new menu items and cuisine styles onboard.

I have not heard any reports about whether the food has changed much, however.

We just returned from the Galaxy TA & while the food was good, in our opinion, Celebrity's food is no longer special. There was not any one dish that we said "wow" to. I don't know if it has anything to do with the new menus, or it's the quality of the food. The presentation is certainly less impressive, & I found the prime rib, which I have enjoyed for many, many cruises, was very tough. I tend to think it's the bean counters at work.
Another thing; gone is the dessert "showtime". You just order off the menu, & it seems that every chocolate dessert is a chocolate mousse concoction. I never chose so much ice cream before, because nothing else appealed.
In addition, although this has nothing to do with the menu itself, gone is the peppermill service & the buffet only has non dairy creamer where they used to offer half & half. Oh yes, & the dining room coffee is the worst I have ever tasted, even worse than previous.
