Meyer Werft Ship yard in Germany has announced on August 10, 2008, the Solstice will be Undocked.
The sea trial date has not been posted, the press can be reached on there Web Site for further details.
I was at the Meyerwharf two weeks ago, and they told us the undocking (ship leaves the building) will be on aug-10, the passage on the river Ems is scheduled for the end of September but no fixed date yet. From Papenburg (wharf) she go "backwards" down the River Ems for about 25 miles - taking more than a day, then she sails a short distance to the dutch port of Emshaven for her final outfitting and from there (i guess) they'll start the sea trials. The river passage is quite a sight - too bad I'll be in Alsaka and will have to miss it.
