Default Perry Grant

Anyone have an update? I understand his contract was over in July. Does anyone know where he is/going?

I think his contract was renewed. He's getting way more recognition now.

We just returned from a Transatlantic and he was a hit! Not only did he perform in Michaels Club most nights, he packed the house in the Celebrity Theater! If he's on your cruise, you must see him in the theater. His "grand entrance" was a hoot!

Excellent performer!

To each their own, I guess? I wouldn't watch Perry Grant every night, but the guy sure does have a following for a reason.

Perry Grant is Cabaret, in a smoky-lounge way. His humore is "campy" and he plays the audience. He is very good in the Michael's Club, IMHO he's better in a small setting. I think he was pretty nervous doing the larger venue of the Celebritiy Theater.

The entertainment is varied on Celebrity for a reason, as not everyone has the same taste, obviously. While Parrot Mom and Parrot Pop found the classical guitarist entertaining, my partner and I walked out. We couldn't stomach him! Just different 'taste buds' that's all.

There's a lot of people to please on those cruises!

Triton-I agree! Perry is the ultimate lounge entertainer. I cannot imagine him in a huge venue like the Celebrity theatre. He needs a smaller crowd to interact with the audience. I, and DH, personally think he's a hoot-we saw him every night he was in Michaels last Feb. on the Connie. Great entertainment but like you say.....different strokes.......

Don't know where he is now. I know that many seem to love him, but I just don't get him. Just my opinion, but to me, he is the epitome of Bill Murray's Lounge Lizzard on SNL. He makes me want to puke!

IMHO and Im old enough to have seen him in person several times in the Boston area.. he is a poor mans Liberace..lol.. Liberace did not take himself seriously, flaunted in great humor his jewelry and costumes.. He was a hoot.. oh yes.. a talented pianist too.

Had a wonderful time aboard the Constellation!

I have the Highest commends for the ships crew! I personally know the entire staff cares about their new family when passangers. We had a medical incident in a critical situation and the professional expertise of each crew member and their positions are to be commended!

We were able to continue the cruise And I so very appreciate each and everyone of you. Also, thank you Perry for sharing your talents with so many who do so enjoy the positives in life!!!!

Recently got back from a cruise on the Constellation. This was the first time I saw Perry Grant. I LOVE him. Had such a good time. His humor is not for everyone but since I am quirky, I love quirky.

Placenta, Perry!

We enjoyed him so much last Feb. we almost considered booking the same cruise again this winter! But we've ended up doing the Mercury in Nov-great ship which we sailed on in 2005-but it sure won't be the same without Perry!

Default Perry Grant

My wife and I just left the Constellation on Monday and Perry Grant is alive and well and entertaining everyone who enters Michael's Lounge. What an enjoyable time we had with him.
