Millenium repositioning cruise 2009

Hello Cruisemates

We've decided against the New Zealand cruise on the Millenium (as it sounds far too cold for our liking!) & would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has sailed on the Millenium this year on a repositioning cruise.
This seems to be the only other option ref not having to fly too far from Sydney to be able to join this ship?

I don't get it. Why you think that a New Zealand cruise, which happens during the southern hemisphere's summer (warm) season, would be too cold?

Hi Norm

Sydney is really warm/hot ref. the Southern hemisphere in January & February but the southern parts of New Zealand are a lot colder as they are nearer the South Pole & further from the Equator. Hope this makes more sense.

Also we love the South Pacific tropical island weather that time of year & have been told south New Zealand is nothing like it.
