here they are - I must say that I do like the tasteful interior. Very much in my taste with the high-tech but elegant finishing touches.

Thanks for the photos. Did you see the quirk on the Solstice which is probably a first for a cruise ship. The doors open out, not in on the ship in an attempt to give more room in the cabin....

I did notice a tinge of art deco, minimalism and the 1970's in some of the pictures which is a nice mix.

Are there pictures of these doors in another gallery somewhere?

It seems a bad idea as you might end up opening the door into someones face while they are walking down the corridor?

I believe all of the door entrances are set back from the hallways so minimize the chance of this happening. It leaves more room down the center of the hallways and people quickly learn not to walk down the sides.

The one thing I have noticed is that the television sets are not in front of the beds - not even close. You can barely see them from the beds. This is a major drawback for me, unfortunately. At this time, they don't appear to be swingable, either. You have to watch them from the couch.

I also see that they didn't add all the closet space the could have added - as in next to the desk near the door as on most ships. Notice that the walls are "jiggered". This means the cabin next door has the bed by the door and the sitting area by the veranda, as far as I can tell.

I will be on the Solstice media cruise about two weeks before the Cruisemates cruise. We will see more then.
