I am getting ready for my third cruise (38 days and counting) and I am hoping that the third is indeed the charm. My first cruise was a family Disney Cruise in August 2004 when Hurricane Charley hit Orlando - almost didn't make it on the ship as the terminal was hit by the hurricane and they routed us to Melbourne where Disney sent a bus for us. Then my daughter fell ill, then she got better and my husband became sick. It was not a good trip. My second cruise was on HAL in January 2008 with my Mom, We boarded late, because they had to disinfect the ship due to so many passengers being ill. Then for the first few days we were in a quarentine state, which made it very interesting. Now, I am getting ready for my third, and hopefully best, cruise on Celebrity next month. On my first two cruises, each ship had a promenade deck all around the ship that was great for walking or running in the early morning hours. I saw a note in a cruise book that said that the Constellation does not have a deck that goes all the way around the ship? Is this correct? I guess it really doesn't matter, but I did like counting my laps all the way around the ship.
I am a first time poster, but have been reading the messages for quite some time and have enjoyed the many tips about what to pack for the cruise.
On Celebrity you will not find a "wrap-around" promenadedeck. In front as well in the back of that deck you cannot walk. (So just one-way and back...)
But on skydeck (the deck above the pool) ) there is an outside track to walk around.
