Default Question on Constellation

Well, if all goes right, we should be booked on the 3/27 sailing by days end. Since we have never sailed Constellation before (we have done Century and Summit), we have a couple of questions:

Is there still a catholic mass celebrated on board on Sundays?;

Where can I get coffee at 0600 or earlier? We bring our own oversized Dunkin Donuts mugs (America runs on Dunkin's....) and use those. Room service typically doesn't start until 0700, and we are early people.

Thanks in advance,

Sid1962

Yes, they do still celebrate Catholic Mass onboard the ship. I can't remember the time, though.

As far as coffee, you can go up to the buffet area and they will have coffee (and fresh donuts) ready at 6 a.m.

Constellation is probably our favorite ship. Enjoy!

Yes, Celebrity's policy is to have a Catholic chaplain -- and daily mass -- aboard every cruise. The chaplains are typically parish priests on "working vacations" (meaning that they conduct religious services for the passengers and for the crew in exchange for a free cruise). The Maritime Apostolate coordinates the scheduling of clergy who wish to serve in this capacity.

There is some possibility that an emergency may force the scheduled chaplain to cancel at the last minute and a replacement might not be able to get to the ship in time, but such occurrances seems to be rare.

All Celebrity ships do offer 24-hour room service, though the menu is pretty limited (the dining room menus are also available from room service during dining room hours).

There's also at least one beverage station open at all times in buffet area.

Norm.

Best service and stuff we ever had on a ship.
Beverage station is open 24 hours. So I had milk for the baby also at the night.
All the ships we had after constelation wasnt the same style.
Enjoy

Yes, it is! We've found most of the Celebrity's vessels to be this way...unlike what I'm hearing about Princess.
