We book our military rates for all cruise lines on http://www.interliner.com/
This site is good for active, retired & reserves AND their immediate family. The military member doesn't have to cruise with you. It is also good for airline employees.

Does Celebrity offer military rebates. I am sure I read that somewhere, when I talked to my TA about it, she called back and told me it was only available in the low season.
Does anyone have more information on the subject?
I am sailing Europe in July 09
Not sure about Celebrity, but it is an RCI product, so maybe it is the same as RCCL. Military discounts apply to those with at least 2 yrs service, or 6 months in a combat zone, so you do not need to be active or retired. They are like discounts for seniors or particular states -- they pop up on select cruises, sometimes later in the booking process. I just used one which popped up not at booking, but about 60 days out. What you want to do is to go to the site, and do a "pretend" booking, checking all the applicable possible discounts, military, senior etc. If it becomes available on your cruise, the special price will come up in red as military discount (it might not be for all cabin categories, either). You then call your TA (who actually should be checking this regularly for you) or the line if you self book and ask for the discount -- it requires that you show a DD214 at check in, but they never asked for ours.
we did get a Military discount after I spotted it on a t/a cruise for Celebrity.. had to tell my travel agent. Have received one for our cruise on NCL.. it was sizeable for both.. dont know about Princess.. should check tomorrow..
