Port of Charleston??

Hello, we just booked a 10 day out of Charleston SC and was wondering a few things such as a reasonalbly priced hotel . and which sights to see there as we are thinking of spending a couple days there before the Mercury sails.
Also, the flights from Edmonton AB are crazy. any idea how to get cheaper??

I would go to the visitors center and take one of the rides around the city to start off, it gives you an idea of what you might look at. My wife loves the old flea market which is right in the center of town. Also, Fort Sumter is another tourist area and there are many tours available for the mansions, ghost tours., etc. Really a nice city to visit.
