Default Solstice for 20'S

Hello, we are a couple, we are 25 years old and we are thinking about going on Solstice on July 27th.
The cabin we are staying at is "verdana" what can you tell us about it?It looks gorgeous on pictures.
We were on a cruise last year, Costa Fortuna, and we didn't really like it, we liked the itinerary but not the ship, is Celebrity much better? that is what we have heard and we would like you to tell us your opinion.
How is nightlife there? we would like to relax and enjoy the cruise, but...is there young people? on their 20's and early 30's???
I speak English, I learned it in The States and I cannot wait to be around lots of americans ( love them and their beautiful accent) but my husband doesn't reallydo you think he will have problems!?
Well, thank you very much and excuse me if I have any spelling mistakes or grammar errors.
Thank you.

The Celebrity Solstice will have an older crowd. There will be few couples in their twenties and thirties on this ship. I would guess the average age to be 50+.

I was on the Solstice in January with a Singles group. Other than us singles there was very little nightlife after midnight. They even shut all the pools (including hot tubs) at 8 pm. It would be a great ship to relax on, but don't expect much for high energy activites.

I stayed in a balcony cabin and it was very nice.
My original comments from my cruise on the Solistice are located on this thread:

Although the Solstice is an absolutely stunning ship, it is very subdued. I was a little bored several days. The crowd is older, if I had to guess I would say the average age is 60. There were many electric scooters, wheelchairs and walkers.

If you're looking for a beautiful ship in a quiet setting. This is the ship!! If you're looking for lots of things to do onboard, you won't find it on the Solstice.

We loved the Solstice and certainly were never bored. There were people of all ages but each cruise you will a slightly different mix. The people over fifty were well represented, but we like to have fun ad well as the youngters do.

I think it depends upon your style rather than your age. If you like a stylish party, Celebrity is a great choice. If you like a wild party, go elsewhere.

A few years ago, one cruise guide graded cruise lines in three basic categories -- "champagne and caviar," "wine and cheese," and "beer and pretzels." In this ranking, Celebrity was at the top of the "wine and cheese" category.

Norm.
