Default Transfer from New York hotel to Cape Liberty NJ

We will be leaving Cape Liberty NJ on the Constellation on October 16. We need to know the most economical way to get to the port from the Crowne Plaza Manhatten hotel in New York City.

You can walk down 10 blocks to Herald square - take Path - $2.50 per I think to Exchange place in NJ.
Get off walk 1 block to Hudson Bergen Light Rail.
Get on train to Bayonne. $1.90 per.
Get off at light rail station near ship.
Walk down to the ship.
That is the best I can do.

it's a pretty long walk from the light rail...it's about a mile.

do NOT take a cab-they do not have to go into new jersey so it will cost an arm and a leg...

try a car service...

or arecibo....you can google them for their phone number.

I know that. Been there many times. I is a long walk.
But they did say most inexpensive way. And if you hit the trains right just about the fastest.

...for what it's worth, I don't think I would like to do the PATH option with all the luggage, most inexpensive or not...

...it may be a better option to stay in Newark or environs, and use public transportation to Manhatten to see the sights....my sense is that it would be less expensive as well....
