I understand that the language learning is through Rosetta Stone which from all I have read is really good...
Don
Don, I have too, and couldn't think of a better place to learn Rosetta Stone, then at sea. I have never taken a Rosetta Stone learning course, but hear they are one of the best.
I will sign up for a Spanish learning class on our cruise.
The "Food as Art" workshops and "Celebrity Signature Spirits" courses look pretty good too...glad we finally have some new workshops and classes to try out!
OK now, is this about ancient astronauts, old celebrities (you should pardon the pun), or just a misspelling? Maybe the original Star Trek cast will be appearing - geezers for sure at this point.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's hilarious, being a card carrying geezer myself. !!!

OMG! My eyes must have flown right past that, I didn't notice until you brought it up Sid1962!!
I've heard of "old geezer" but not "Star geezer"...Wikipedia defines it as follows:

Look up geezer in Wiktionary, the free dictionary.
Geezer is a term for a man. It can carry either the connotation of age and eccentricity or, in the UK, that of craftiness or stylishness.
Regardless...this isn't good. Calling my contact at Celebrity now regarding this page on their website. Here's a copy of the advertising:
I just hung up with Henry at =X=, who spoke with public relations and marketing and he literally gasped when I asked him to read that paragraph to me.
He apologized on behalf of =X= several times. He even said, "I'm a geezer myself and I don't appreciate that." He said it was definitely a "typo" and that they would fix it immediately and for me to please convey their deepest apologies....
Hmmmm, how bout stateroom credits for all =X= Cruisemates?
With all these new programs on Celebrity, if a person is not carefull they might learn something.

Hi guys,
I have had the chance to experience a few samples of the new programs during our repositioning cruise (from the shipyard to Southampton) on Equinox. Dan Hanrahan himself introduced the program and several of the people in charge (like the Foodie, the ..... and the....., forgot all the 'trade names"). Then they presented a short intro and just about everything took my fancy. I think =X= has really got something there that could add yet another reason to get on board!
Happysailing
only 37 days until Tritons cruise is over - and mine will start !!!!!!! (no offence Triton)
Haapysailing, that sounds good. It's great to have another reason to sail on Celebrity.

- no offense taken HappySailing, laughing in fact. I would feel the same way if I were in your shoes....I think of the pax on board the Infinity right now, and those folks only have 2 1/2 days left. Ah well...
I agree with Manuel - Celebrity Life, just another reason to sail on =X=. By the way, they removed the "stargeezers" and replaced appropriately with "stargazers". I'm looking forward to this class!
Nice to know that there will be true educational programs on Celebrity compared to "pottery painting"....on the last line we were on. Great programs for a more sophisticated cruiser which does make Celebrity a step above, doesnt it.
