Default Biking on-cruise?

Hey guys,

I'm booked for the Celebrity Solstice trip from Rome to the Greek Isles and Turkey. We are travelling with my wife's uncle, who is a BIG biking fan. He is asking me whether he would be able to get his bike onboard and bike in the Lido deck or maybe in/near the Lawn Club (he has never cruised before). I'm no novice at cruising (although I'm 28, I've travelled in over 18 different sailings!), and although I do not recall EVER seeing an actual person biking onboard, I would assume this could theoretically be possible. I do not know the Solstice, but it seems quite spacious.

What do you guys think?

Never seen this and I am almost sure it is impossible and even dangerous with that many passengers around.
But...I have seen passengers bringing their bikes and they used it in various ports.
So either he brings his or rents it ashore.

NO biking on the ship.

He can bike when he is on land.

I have never seen it nor do I believe it would be safe to do this. There are problems with strollers or people standing in the jogging area. A bike would be even more of a hazard.

He probably can bring a collapsable bike onboard and ride in the ports. A full size bike may be a bit of a storage problem but probably could be done.

Take care,
Mike
