Default Summit

Can anyone give me any info on Summit? Looking at a summer sailing from Bayonne to Bermuda.

Is Summit in good shape?

Does an oceanview cabin mean a porthole or an actual window?

How are the Activities/entertainment??? Have been used to Royal and the poolside games, 70's nite and outdoor deck party any of this on Celebrity?

Does my Diamond status carry over to Celebrity?

I'm concerned for the 4 teenagers that are in the group and hope there would be other teens to meet on this sailing.

Our other options are Carnival Miracle or NCL Jewel. However as a group our 1st choice is Summit.

Thanks!

O.K. Summit is a good choice - I will be on in a few days and can respond to the use question.

Oceanview usually is a large window.

There are activities and games but not as many as Royal Caribbean.
They will have a deck party on night.

Dimond status does carry over to Celebrity.

During the Summer there is no problem with a lot of teens on any boat.

Choice is good - the only thing is you are at the dockyard - unless things have changed. it is relatively quiet up at that end of the island at night.

The summit was so nice we did twice.

We cruised on her two years in a row with another couple form Connecticut and also a couple from Georgia.

The Summit is a beautifull ship with an excellent crew.

CQ, your points from Royal will be honored on Celebrity. Be sure to mention them at the time of booking.

I think that you will like Celebrity.

Thanks Longboy and TM!

Went ahead and booked the Summit.

Been watching this sailing for a few weeks however on Tuesday the price dropped $300. per cabin.

Mom & Dad love Celebrity, love Bermuda and hate to fly so booking the Summit was a no brainer.

I'm sure it will be a great cruise even though the activities will be lacking (compared to Royal).

CQ, the activities may be lacking, but you will make the fun happen. The Summit will never be the same after you and your family sail on her.
