Solstice: My Time Dining

Has anyone had trouble booking dinner times on the Celebrity web site while trying to put 3 cabins (6 people) at the same table?

I can't say I have ever tried it online, but I doubt you will have a problem once you get onboard if you make the reservation as soon as you can onboard.

The whole idea of "My Time" dining is a lot of people want to play it by ear - so they don't make any reservations.

HI Paul,

Not the case with Celebrity...they do offer reservations on line in advance of sailing. I finally got to a supervisor who addmitted they were have major problems with the website for booking dinner reservations, excursions and specialty restraurants. All has been taken care of and I thank you for responding.

My time dining? Is that similar to NCL's freestyle? Does one have to request this plan before sailing? Sailing on the Solstice in May. Jimbo

I cannot comment about NCL, but yes you request either traitional (assigned seating & time) or MTD (open seating & time) at the time of booking, or by logging into "My Celebrity" and changing it to your preferred dining. The exception is if you are booked in an Aqua Class Cabin then you are assigned to "Blu" which is all open seating.

I know the RCL system of making reservations online is new. I was not aware that Celebrity is doing the same thing.

Do not pick Select Dining if you are in Blu. For some reason they take you out of Blu and put you in the MDR. Blu is all open seating so no reason to choose Select but if anyone if booking do not take Select if in AQ.
