Has anybody used an iPhone on the Century's WiFi while at sea? AT&T advised me of the data roaming setting to change, but Celebrity's website says iPhone's Safari browser doesn't work and FireFox is needed for WiFi?
I know in the Hawaii ports, the phone and Internet will work as usual.
My experience is that the iPhone browser does not work at sea. When you are paying so much I would not want to use it anyway - its too clumsy. You want to be on a computer.
If you just want to download your email you can just turn ON data roaming when you want your email. But it can be very expensive - becareful.
It is better just to get email through the Internet cafe onboard or web cafes on shore.
Blackberries are far more price effective on ships - dunno why (for email).
