Dance Hosts

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it on the threads. When I was booking my cruise with Celebrity, and asked about it, the man didn't know, and asked someone else, who said that there were. Since I am going with another single female on the Solstice in February, I wanted to be sure about it. I would appreciate any info on this.

I am a man so I am probably not the best person to respond, but..... Based on my observations, I do not think that are Dance Hosts on Celebrity Ships. In fact most of the time when we visit the dance clubs in the evenings they are usually nearly empty (but, we are alway in and out by 10PM).

I have seen dance hosts on Celebrity. On one of our cruises, two of them were seated in our DR table.
Now, I don't know if they are on all cruises or not. We usually stay up quite late and there is dancing a least untill 3AM.

Celebrity once had dance hosts, but dropped that program about three or four years ago.

But if you need a dance (ballroom) partner to accompany you on a cruise, I'm willing....

Many of the dance host programs have vanished. I was on Celebrity as a host more than five years ago. I think it is pretty much a matter of cost. We take rooms that could be sold. Cunard runs the best host program (on moderately priced ships) with hosts on pretty well all the cruises and more on the world cruises. (I've done one a year for several years now.) But there are a lot of single ladies for each host on most runs. I understand that Crystal has a great program although I have not been on myself. HAL has hosts on the longer runs.
