How great is the Eclipse

I am thinking of booking last minute for April 2nd at $499 per person,
Which I think for a newer ship may be a good deal.
Can anyone tell me how is the food, pools, hot tubs, entertainment and Solarium? I have been reading some reviews and I must say it sounds better than Carnival Rccl or Ncl.

I was on the media cruise in November,and I was just entranced, by this ship. We had an Aqua Spa cabin.

Our food was delish, in my assigned dining rooms...Tucan Grill and Murano.

The Great Lawn was fun, as was the entertainment, it was great.

The Ocean View Cafe and the Aft Bar, was wonderful

I say grab it at the price,go run and book it... look in the gallery for pics.

It is a beautiful class of ships and I would even say this is the best one yet. You can't go wrong - book it.

Thanks for oosting the question, and for the answers with photo link too.
We are on her for a long weekend at the end of April, also in Aqua Spa stateroom, so have the Blu restaurant.

It'll be our first time with Celebrity, and are getting really excited about it now.

these were the pics, from my cruise..we decided on a long cruise our aquaspa cabin's storage, would not be sufficient.

Many thanks Trip, we are only on for the 4 nights

so guess space won't be an issue, we also managed to get booked into one of the staterooms at the end of the passage, so have the extended balcony which seems to be the only one that is not fully sheltered by the deck above. Yes, yes, I know, sunshine in the Englsih Channel in April - but we live in hope

Having seen the reports & your pics, I have a funny feeling we may be needing to find our way to their future sales office for a longer cruise. In chatting to others did you happen to find any larger rooms, or at least ones with more storage?

David and I are on the Eclipse from 4-16 to 4-29, in an aft facing ¨sunset view¨ cabin, on her repositioning cruise. Thanks for the photos and info. We are excited as you may guess.

We´ll leave the lights on for you (lol)

:razz: as we debark the ship in Southhampton. Have fun in Cork. That sounds like a nice cruise. We thought about staying aboard for those four additional days but we have friends to visit in London.

We were told every other spa cabin has the couch and bed positioned differently. We had the one,where the couch is near the closet,and because of that, getting to the far side of the closet is difficult. We were surprised how little drawer space there is as well. For 2 people for a long cruise I wish them well....

We did not see any othe regular cabins, just the fabulous suites, that had no issues at all!!!
