Hi, this is the Celebrity cruises threads. You might get a better response if you ask a host to move this to the Carnival threads.

You might want to explain what a FoD group is ... or maybe Im just uninformed, as I havent heard of it.... and Iv cruised Carnival quite a bit.

"FoD" is short for "Friends of Dorothy," which is the discrete "code" for gatherings of homosexual passengers (analogous to "Friends of Bill W." for members of Alcoholics Anonymous).

Paradoxically, the gatherings for "Friends of Dorothy" are for both male ("gay") and female (lesbian) homosexual individuals. One might expect that they would be separate....

Yes, all of the major cruise lines have scheduled gatherings for the "Friends of Dorothy" throughout each cruise. Of course, the frequency and timing of such gatherings during a cruise will depend upon the ship's schedule.
