Celebrity allows passengers to bring two (2) bottles of wine on board per cabin. My questions is; should the wine be in your carry on or checked luggage?

Trip - the trick is they must fly in checked baggage > 3.5 fl. oz.
We will actually be buying with between the flying and sailing parts. We have had to do the bottle shuffle on previous Carnival cruises.

That is the best way. I would hate to land with wet clothes Are you precruising for a couple of days? Out of Miami or FLL?
I know in Lauderdale, on Sundays, the liquor stores open at noon...I was so surprised the first time I saw beer and wine sold in CVS & Walgreens in Fl!

I have successfully packed bottles of alcohol in my hold luggage on flights for over 30 years. Before bottle sleeves I rolled the bottle in a Tshirt and place in the middle of the suitcase.
Pre-cruising in NYC Will pick up wine on Saturday.
In the past we wrap bottles in t-shirts and put in a plastic bag.

I recently brought back 5 bottles of booze from Italy in my checked bags and they all made it.
