New Bedding Program announced.

Celebrity issued a press release today introducing a new bedding program to be instituted on the M class ships getting the S class makeover starting with Infinity...

Beds on Eclipse were comfortable, not so on a lot of ships.

Some of the beds are torture, on P&O Arcadia I had to take pain killers every night, OK if you are a lightwieght but because the mattress was 3/4 inches thick there was no support, the base was solid metal so if you laid on the bed the mattress compressed & you were on lightly padded metal. They supplied a sort of foam thing but that was solid foam like packing material. My trouble is we have a Tempur memory foam bed at home.

It thought the beds in Aqua Class on the S class ships were extremely comfortable and I have sleep apnea and a bad back...

If I read this correctly the Equniox already had this? I hope so!

One thing about HAL they have great bedding-if it was not for the smokers I would book another cruise. We also love our bargain NCL cruises because of the "Freestyle 2" bedding on NCL.

No they do not already have this, this only applies to M class ships still to get the S class makeover. As of right now Constellation will not have it because it has already been done

So not in 18 months? We are considering April 2013. Oh well? I can bring my memory foam-since we can drive to that cruise.

Equinox has extremely comfortable beds....I would also think that once the M class ships are done with all their work, it will be time to start taking the S class ships in for some revitalization...They do have certain mechanical things that have to be done every few years...

Equinox is next year-and we have to fly as that leaves from Italy. We are considering the Connie for April 2013 out of Miami. We would drive down and sped time elsewhere in FL before and after cruise. I meant I would bring my memory foam for the Connie. Good to know that is not a worry for the Equniox.

No it does not have the new bedding I meant Connie had their S class makeover awhile back and this program was not in play at that time.
