Having only experienced Carnival and Royal Caribbean, I'm wondering what Celebrity is like. Stuffy, too formal? Consistently older crowd or mix of ages? Maybe a better chance of a lounge chair at the pool? Better food, better service?
What's the entertainment like? I'm thinking about the Constellation next year to Jamaica and Cayman Is. Anything you can share would be appreciated.

Celebrity is the premium brand belonging to Royal Caribbean. They are comparable to Holland America in terms of who they attract - slightly older, a little wealthier.
The food is a main attraction, the newer ships of the Solstice class are beautiful. And right now they are relative bargains compared to other ships doing similar itineraries - for the quality of ship you get.
I would day the entertainment is much better on your first two cruise lines. Celebrity will have the standard cruise shows with a few special "cirque-style" things thrown in.
I suggest you go to the ship reviews for more information.

On the Eclipse, I found the decor and restaurants, to be like a high end hotel. The pool area is stunning as well. The great lawn, was a special place to just getaway to. The entire ship has a great sense of ambiance,
Ours was a media cruise, but on my other X cruises, there was a good mix of ages. I do think the difference between this line, and the other lines is not sutble.......I didn't want to leave

If you had to choose one word to describe Celebrity, it’d be “style.”
The line got its start in 1989 as a project of the Chandris family, who’d operated cargo and passenger ships in Greece and beyond since 1915. Celebrity made such a splash, so quickly, that it was bought by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line just nine years later. It has operated as a sister line to Royal Caribbean ever since, while the trademark “X” in the line’s logo is a reminder of it’s origins: It’s really the Greek letter chi, for Chandris.
I'm with everybody else in saying Celebrity is in a class by itself. My first cruise was on Celebrity and I've been spoiled ever since. On that ship, the staff remembered your name and greeted you throughout your cruise. It wasn't a "stuffy" atmosphere, just relaxed and effortless. Spot on!
