You would be underdressed. Most people on the Equinox dress up quite nicely.

Beg to differ, the poster was inquiring about "smart casual" night. The mode of dress she is proposing is pretty much what most people will be wearing on Celebrity cruises recently.. Jeans have been removed as banned from the dress code. You will probably find most women in capris and many in jeans. If you are on a Caribbean cruise I would suggest you rethink the jeans however as they are extremely hot and uncomfortable in that part of the world.

I can only speak to dining in Blu on the S-Class ships. I did not see one person in jeans on our 16-night cruise...but then again, the ship had a European itinerary and I have found that many Euro itineraries, which hold more Brit and European guests, dress somewhat differently with a nod to tradition and custom.

On the M-class ship, yes more and more pax wear jeans on smart casual nights.

I agree with Don though about the humidity and heat and wearing jeans...ugh, just the thought makes me sweat, .

Yes you can.

I would think on this upscale ship, that jeans would/should not be the first choice for dining. There is such a variety of light weight comfortable pants to choose from to look nice, and, yet comfortable.
