Hope you can help.....anyone who has crossed the Atlantic in April what is
the weather like and what attire would you recommend? Hardly shorts weather? We will be spending time in London after that. But is the ship warm enough for capris, etc. Thanks.
I asked the captain of The Jewel of the your question about the sea in April. He told me that the crossing should be ok. The fall is heavier waves.
I am looking for a cruise mate for a cross Atlantic cruise this spring. If you know of a female that might like to share a cabin ( I prefer a balcony if possible) let me know. Thanks,
I dont know why it is so difficult to find some one to share the cabin.
I am non smoking, non drinker.

Atlantic crossings are unpredictable weather-wise. We're on the same run and have been on many crossings. The best advice is to be ready to layer. You might get away with short sleeves the whole time, or you might need sweaters and windbreakers. We've been in London in May a number of times and have had everything from warm and 75 (last year) to damp and 50 (three years ago).
"Should be" doesn't matter and averages don't matter. Plan on layers, but at the same time avoid overpacking.
Skip the shorts, and yes of course the interior of the ship is kept at "room temperature."
