Based on our recent Bermuda cruise, we've come to realize that in the main dining room (and everywhere else for that matter), smart casual now means that the baseball cap is worn with the bill facing the front rather than the back.
I know that some people here get mad when they're called out on the dress code, and I've never been a huge fan of formality, but slobs are slobs and unfortunately there are still some of them on the high seas.
