Depends on where you want to be; if you want to be close to the cruise pier, you'll pay a bit more, but take a look at the Movenpick Hotel or the Doubletree. If you don't mind being a little further away and taking the streetcar (or tram as they call it), we like the Amsterdam Marriott as it's close to the Van Gogh Museum and many great restaurants. Plus, there's a tram stop right across the street making it easy to get anywhere.

If you want to be in the middle of all the action and don't mind spending more money, you can try the NH GrandHotel Krasnapolsky, which is VERY nice. The Park Plaza near the train station is equally as nice and as expensive. If you want a lesser price, try the Ibis right next to the train station. Our kids stayed in the Hotel Banks and liked it, alot.

There are many wonderful hotels as well as some awesome B&B's, which we've used a few times and have always loved them! But you have to usually stay a minimum of 3 nights if you want to do a B&B.

Hope this helps.

Pete
