Who or what is the best entertainer or show u've seen on a ship?
For me, I'd have to say Marty Allen... if only because I was happy to see he's still alive.. and because his hair looks like mine does in the morning <G>
Brooks Aehron - several shows during our 12-day Med. cruise in May 2000 on Splendor of the Seas and absolutely RENATO - who performed on the Legend of the Seas on our 7-day Med. cruise in May 1999. It was so romantic to listen to this Italian tenor as we cruised through the Med.! (Jack Freedman was right funny, too!)
Jane Powell - a fabulous entertainer on Norwegian Cruise Line. She's Ella Fitzgerald, Patsy Cline, Whitney Houston ... all rolled into one. A truly great voice and funny, too.
Bruce Gold on Viking Serenade and Rhapsody of the Seas. The funnuest comedian we have ever seen. We have seen him 5 times, and still laugh when we hear him.
Mine was such a long time ago I can't remember her name. We saw her on Royal Princess in 1984. She sang in a late night cabaret. She had one of those Julie London type voices, husky, smoky, intimate, jazzy, really great. We were on her last cruise. She was getting ready to retire and had just won the "Best Entertainer at Sea" award for the umpteenth time.
I don't know the guys name, but last year on the Dolphin IV this comedian whipped off his hair in the middle of his act and we absolutely fell out. If anyone knows who this is let me know, he was SOOO funny.
Thank's Donna I think Kuki might like this one

And I liked the ice show on the Voyager. very professional
Definitely, Jane L. Powell. What a talent! She has a magnificent voice & great personality. Saw her on the Norway twice & the Norwegian Sea. Would love to enjoy her singing again.
Personally, I think show I saw on Carnival's Triumph was the best ship entertainment I've witnessed. My favorite "star" will always be John Heald, one of Carnival's Cruise Directors...he's hysterically funny and a terrific person.
I would have to say John Heald on the Triumph in 1999. The talent show also had my father in law play piano (Rhapsody in Blue) The crowd broke into the biggest aplause I had ever heard on a cruise ship theater. That had to have been the best for us so far. Rix :-)
I just had the pleasure of seeing the "Ladder Man" on our Millennium cruise....he was a riot. Last year, we saw "Howie and Steve" (I think that's their names)...they too were excellent.
The absolute BEST entertainment I've ever seen has been the Jean Ann Ryan Company performers on NCL. They stage productions from major Boardway shows and the performers are young, talented and just bursting with energy. My fave was "Hey Mr Producer", a salute to Sir Cameron MacIntosh aboard the Norwegian Sky.
