If you like to watch ship cams and various port cams, go to <http://www.kroooz-cams.com>. For those of your who have visited in the past, I have added numerous port cams to the site.
I also need everyone's help as I am compiling a list of independent tour operators at ports for the independent traveler. If you have a tour operator or guide or transportion service or hotel that you have used that was very good, please mail me a link to their website and I will add it to the list.
Hi Jeff,
I love to watch those ship cams, thanks for the link. I did have it once, but don't know what I did with it??? Any idea when they will get the ones on Explorer working???
Thanks. I also enjoy seeing ship cams and appreciate the hard work that must go into getting all of this on the web.
I'm asking the following question without first having checked out your site, but are there any web cams in the ship yards where we can check in on new builds, (i.e., Celebrity's Infinity).
Dan,
I have one link to Meyer-Wurft's great hall cam. That did show the progress of the Radiance of the Seas, but today has Star Cruises Superstar Leo in it. They update their camshot once a week, generally on Monday. You can find it under resources, then click on shipbuilders.
I have no idea whether Explorer of the Seas even has a bridge cam. I have e-mailed repeatedly to them and never received a reply. When it is going it will be there. You know RCI has a hard enough time keeping the VoyagerCAM up though.
I just did a real fast scan through of your site - WOW, GREATE!!! I definitely put that under my bookmarks.
If I come across anything you might be able to use, I'll sure let you know. My wife and I both enjoy cruising. We're going to Hawaii in April aboard the Infinity.
Hi again Jeff,
Yes, I've noticed the problems with the Voyager cam We had the president of RCCL in our chat a few months ago and he mentioned that there was a cam on Explorer, just not working yet?? Sure looking forward to that one up and running soon :-) I'm sure when it is, you'll have it on your site, nice job Jeff :-)
Love your site! It is great to be able to enjoy port photos as well as photos of ships/tours right our my fingertips. You've done a fantastic job. Thanks.
