there are sooooo many things I do. But the funniest, I guess, is when I get my docs, I read and re-read and re-read them until the day finally arrives. I don't know what I think I might find there. But, I could recite them by heart if need be.
I read everything I can get my hands on that pertains to cruising. And spend hours and hours on the CruiseMates site.
There is nothing better than planning for a cruise (except actually being on a cruise).
Very clever, Jeff! Your question to Doug R. is just too funny.
My ritual is like Mary Lou's - reading the documents and cruise literature over & over again. It's so exciting to keep reading about what you have to look forward to.
My daughter got a package from our cruise agent and thought, goodie, the cruise docs. she too likes to read her docs until they are practically falling apart. She opens the package and they are for an RCI cruise on the Viking Serenade for a couple living in Miami. She is single, living in Washington, DC and we are sailing on HAL's Amsterdam. So much for reading cruise docs.
PS I do that too and go through everything to make sure I have filled out absolutely EVERYTHING that needs filling out.
