Default Weddings

Hello, me and my partner Phil are planning to get married. We want to do it with the smell of fish and salt in the air, as we like that sort of thing. Does anyone know any cruise ships that would provide us with what we need? We figured that because we would be in international waters, same sex wedding laws wouldn't apply - it would be up to the captain. Please help, it's been our dream and it's our destiny. Can you help?!

Lots of love,

Steve and Phil.

That is really cute. Best of luck with the wedding, I'm sure that as the sea is not owned it will be a valid marriage. You could dress as sea captains.

Phil, if the captain refuses to perform the wedding you can always come to Vermont. There is a huge lake and I am sure you can find a jusstice of the peace who will perform the wedding in the middle of the lake. It will feel that you are in the ocean. Good luck.

For a commitment ceremony, try Fantasia out of St Thomas. They are wedding planners and I know they would welcome you. Good Luck.

I was thinking about getting married at sea, but on celebrity's website it says that weddings can not be performed at sea, because it is interantional waters, but once in port you can do it on the beach or the ship. Also the captains usually are not allowed to perform the ceremonys.
