I am planning a family & friends cruise in October and I want to make this cruise enjoyable for everyone. I am thinking of making cruise "gift" bags to place in the staterooms and would love some suggestions as to what to put in them. I am having sweatshirts made with the group cruise name on them and have some special events planned but would love to hear from you!!!!!
Hi Bostongal we cruise with the family and I always make up telephone / room directories (pocket size & room size) for everyone on my computer so we can find each other.
If the ship allows it party poppers are good for the bon-voyage party on deck.
We also have shirts made for the cruise and that makes for a little fun around the ship (also a few comments from fellow travellers). I suggest not putting dramamine in your gift bag lol, but whatever you do just have a great cruise
I think bringing me along would add to the overall enjoyment of the cruise, and guess what I'm available in Oct <G>
Grab bags sound like a wonderful idea. One handy dandy item would be a mini-mag light.. we carry the type on a key chain, and hook it to our fanny packs. Surprising how much they're used.
Depending on how much u'd like to spend, another idea might be a water proof fannypack.. available at most luggage specialty stores for under $10.
At our first Creamscicle Bash one of our now CruiseMates Chat hosts (Tweety) made the cutest name tags. Looked like little lifesavers on a rope (for around the neck). Think she used white curtain loops, tied some string around them, and wrote everyone's name on them.
However,f it's all family in your group I suppose there's a chance they'll know each other's names..
<Join us on a CruiseMates Group Cruise... here's how:
some small bottles of antibacterial hand wash (the kind that doesn't require water) you can get like 4 to a box really cheap in the grocery store. Also some personal size packets of moist towelettes. They are refreshing in the heat of the day and on shore excursions. book marks (you could probably do something on your computer & laminate them)
