How appropriate! My best friend, Lucy, is coming in from Tampa to NJ today and I'm going to show her this and hug, hug, hug. She is a sister, although my real sister is 6 years younger. Thank you, Denise.
I really appreciate you posting that because I truly believe it. Especially as we get older I believe we realize the value of friendship more than ever. In my case, I am not married so I have no children, I also have no nieces or nephews. My family is my mom and sister in another state, so my friends are truly my family. Finding good and true friends is vital in my case, we need people to watch over us, and for us to care for as well.
I'm just recovering from a bad bicycle accident where I broke my collarbone and ribs. People have been so nice to me and it makes a huge difference.
I really agree with the thoughts about anger being a waste. People need to get the bigger picture sometimes and remember that no one is perfect, but you are a lot better off having them in your life than to be without them.
Thats why I am so happy all you new people are here, you really seem to be friends with other, and that should be cherished.
So true Paul, nobody knows better than I do what the bigger picture is. I learned the hard way not to sweat the small stuff, and actually from my perspective, most of it is small stuff. Thanks for sharing Denise.
