I'm curious.....what is your favorite cruise ship? And, why? I'm fairly new to cruising...only having cruised three times. But so far, my favorite ship is Celebrity's Millennium. Galaxy runs a very close second.

I haven't sailed a Millenium class ship yet, but enjoy Celebrity very much. My favorite cruiseline is Princess. I will be sailing the Royal in September. It will be my 14th Princess cruise. Of course, in December I will be sailing the Radisson Seven Seas Mariner. It's a western Caribbean itinerary, round trip from Ft. Lauderdale. Since I live in Miami and the rates are fabulous I'm actually going to go with my travel agent, a long time friend. I have a feeling my favorites might be changing.
I really don't have a favorite -- I like everyone that I've been on. I guess my favorite cabin/balcony was the Grand. We had a cabin on the Caribe deck with the wonderful oversized balcony. We spent lots of time out there!
Sky Princess It was just the right size and probably had the best itineraries of any ship in the Princess fleet. Look forward to seeing it in Darling Harbour next Feb, its now Pacific Sky with P&O..... Cheers Jake
Even though I haven't sailed it yet, I'm gonna go with Voyager. Based on what I've read, the on-board activities, the lack of snootiness...I think this will be my favorite ship. Looking forward to the Adventure July '02.
It's really hard to pick a favorite but HAL is by far our favorite cruiseline and we love all of their ships (only one we have not been on is Westerdam), but if I have to name a first choice, it's Rotterdam. We've been on her four cruises and find her very elegant, great food, beautifully maintained...perfet size for us. I can't think of a negative hen speaking of that beautiful ship.
My least favorite cruises were on Ocean Princess (last fall) and Monarch of the Seas when she was about a year old. We had a decent time on each (we always have a good time) but I wouldn't necessarily go back to either ship without there being special circumstances to warrant it.
I would have to say the Grand also, lots of activities for every one.
But now that I have seen so much about the Voyager of the Seas
I would like to try her next. So any one with information about her,
and would pass it on It would be greatly appreciated.
I always used to say the exact same thing as rs... but now I have to admit I actually have a favorite. The Millennium really wowed me. Seems like it has just the right blend of elegance and comfort for this moose.
I'm with The Grand Princess lovers. I have sailed on her twice and it was great both times.
1. Grand Princess
2. Sea Princess
3. Rhapsody of the Seas
4 Dawn Princess
6. Radiance of the Seas
9. Splendour of the Seas

Re: What is your favorite ship?
Have 5 cruises under my belt and my favorite is the one I am on....seriously, I have enjoyed them all but the one who's decore I liked the leaste was the Fascination....just couldn't stand those statues oft he stars, way to gaudy! I loved the Victory (green is my fav color) and we did have a balcony. Looking forward to the Century in 94 days!
Can I pick one I haven't been on yet? I think my favorite will be the Radiance. I'll let you know in 3 months if it's my favorite!
The others have been great, but I'm ready to try new and different ships. I think there is something that everyone likes about each ship they've been on. It'd be great if all those things could be combined into one fabulous ship!
Splendour of the Seas BUT we are booked November 5th on the Radiance so who knows. The Grand has the best entertainment and fun things to do. We saw 3 shows every nite for 16 nites straight and never a repeat....altho the disco was empty most nites except for the staff, it was still fun. Hope the Legend will be ok for our Australian cruise on February 2. Anyone on these cruises?
